You Just Never Know What a Day Will Bring!
From the last article concerning the lockdown of the account @ archive.org titled ButchHamilton, the breathless days of awaiting an answer from the distinguished website that hosts all of the information ever produced on the web since the Internet began, comes a most perplexing riddle of statements that scarcely begin to be legitimate in any way, shape or fashion. I simply asked a simple question of the highly regarded Internet Archive which went something like this.
Why did Archive.org Lock My Account?
As I stated before, I have done nothing ever since 2004 but praise, promote and recommend Archive.org as somewhat of a legend on the web. Just imagining the awesome task of saving each piece of digital information since the beginning of the web all in one location called Archive.org scarcely defies explanation. I was expecting something of a legendary statement or possibly a glitch in their system that caused the accidental locking of ButchHamilton at Archive.org. I did not receive that answer at all. As a matter of fact, the answer I received was quite possibly the most obscure an and least understood of any statement that I have ever received from anyone about anything! They did not even bother to setup good content and punctuation on their reply! Hardly substantial or noteworthy in this author’s humble opinion. Their answer to the burning question was this.
You are welcome to upload any and all information into your account; however, we do not allow advertising at Archive.org!
The only information that I ever upload, or use, or create or anything else on the web is original in nature and has to do with how to creatively express yourself on the world wide web in the most efficient model possible! If I ever upload anything to Archive.org, it will be keyword specific information in the manner of videos, written text, articles, commentaries, press releases, images, podcasts and all the other stuff I write about in my profession!
I literally save All of my links to Archive.org so that they will be live forever on the web! Advertise? You do not allow people to advertise on the Archive.org website?
I have to tell you this. I have sincerely over exaggerate the stance of Archive.org over the years, and I will not make that mistake again! Please allow Mohammad and all of his friends to come, rant, rave and talk against America, but please, do not allow Butch Hamilton to advertise his stuff on the web using Archive.org!
